When I go to use the sketch tool, I do not see the 3D cube or other resulting geometry unless I first hit "apply". Even the how-to tip mentions that you start with a cube because all sides are filled.

I see some awesome videos of people using the sketch tool online and they are getting live interaction with geometry results instantly visible. I'm using 4.7 stable and 4.73 beta on a 2013 Mac pro, 10.10.2 and coming up with these two problems. You should be able to launch spreadsheet.2 Questions about Sketch Tool in 3D coat. Is there an option where NX isn't locked to working with Excel for modifying a table in the drawing? Another CAD software that I used managed the tables within the software itself, but gave the option to edit in Excel if I wanted to. When this happens, I keep getting that pop-up window and I have to use Task Manager to stop NX. I get the same message "Failed to connect to Excel events". I tried to use the same solution that worked last time, but that didn't work this time. It's running faster but now I'm back to NX not working with Excel. Because of that my computer was recently re-imaged. Unfortunately, my computer was having resource problems with NX and it was causing almost everything in my computer to run slow. I was given the solution ( shown below) by Ganesh_Kadole and it worked great. Hello, On 5-5-17, I had submitted a problem for UG and NX not being able to communicate. I would let Weight Management, which can do that, to take care of this nasty issue and just interface it by the code, as the PR letter suggests to do. This topic has been previously debated a lot of times on this forum (and bbsnotes), and examples have been provided (for example by John B.) of what can go wrong. To me, selecting components is looking for trouble. men file is created which makes the script to automatically run before o after a regular NX command The script is embedded within a few NX commands via menuscripting, that is a.
